"Finding the right therapist can be a difficult business. It's all in the match."
Lisa Ann
My style in working with clients is positive, straightforward, and supportive. I believe wholeheartedly in the possibility of change, and that the deepest, most powerful change starts on the inside.
Therapeutic Approach
I craft my skills from Family Systems, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, common sense, and years of parenting my three sons.
Therapy is a collaborative partnership between myself and my client. Together we focus on the client's behaviors, thoughts, emotions, goals, and hopes.
Therapeutic Specialties
I am a licensed mental health counselor with 17 years of experience working with children, preschool to teens, and their parents.
I provide individual counseling and play therapy to children, individual therapy to adults, and family psychotherapy.
I specialize in relationships, anxiety, depression, ADD challenges, social skills
confusions, parenting and children.
Additional ServicesIn addition to my private practice, I teach social skills classes,
Friendship Group, with my colleague Karen Noble-Newman.
